On an Original Duo X2 Blue the letters BT and D0 are printed in Yellow and the word Duo X2 is written in blue.

On an Original Duo X2 White the letters BT and D0 are printed in Black and the word Duo X2 is wriiten in gold.

Team Omega make 3 original Duo X2 chips. Duo x2 Blue , Duo X2 White and the Duo X2 Lite. The Original chips have gold solder pads. If your chip has silver solder pads then it's a clone!

Warning! There are Duo X2 Clones which have one major problem. They can't be flashed with the new X2 503X bios! If you try to flash a Duo X2 clone with this bios it will freeze and your chip maybe useless afterwards. Even hotswapping may not got your clone working again. For this reason DO NOT FLASH the Duo X2 chips with the new X2 503X bios.

Xbox V1.0 - V1.5 use X2 4981.06

XBox V1.6 - V1.6b use Evox M8 Plus V1.6

Your bios file must be 512k. I believe the reason is the clones are using a different flashrom than the originals. The origial chips will come with one of the following flashroms.

AMD
FUJITSU
HYUNDAI

The Clones come with AMD stamped on the chip in white but if you look , you will see it's not a AMD chip at all ! You will have a ST - M29F080A flashrom instead. This flashrom will not flash with the X2 503X bios at all. Simply use one of the bioses above and you will have no trouble with your clone at all. The clones i have tested work very well as long as you don't try to flash it with the X2 503X bios.
